Clemson’s new football operations complex is to be located near the existing indoor practice facility.
The complex is set to include locker rooms, meeting rooms, coaches offices along with strength and conditioning, sports medicine, and a dining area, all located next to the indoor practice facility and existing practice fields. The budget for the project is $62 million, which will be financed completely by the athletic department and IPTAY.
“We are very excited and very appreciative of this approval,” said Head Coach Dabo Swinney. “While the WestZone has been a great addition to our program the last six years, this new complex will be the home of Clemson football for a very long time. It will allow our operation to be in one place, which will be a great benefit to our student-athletes, coaches and football administration. This complex will be one of the best in the nation and will allow us to continue our pursuit to be among the best programs in the country.”
Barton Malow hired Max Wave Media to develop a conceptual 4D construction video and series of still renderings to help showcase the new 60,000 to 80,000 sq. ft. Football Operations building and demonstrate how it will look situated next to the Indoor Football Practice Facility.
